A Brown’s Promise intern will: 

 

• Use publicly available data to create presentations illustrating the ways school district boundaries are related to racial/economic segregation and resource equity; 

• Assist in coordinating outreach efforts across various states by keeping track of email communications and meetings;

• Prepare materials and take notes for conversations with advocates, researchers, and thought partners;

• Conduct reviews of relevant research and policy changes within the realm of school desegregation and resource equity.
