A research-driven guide to building a case for integrated, well-resourced schools

Ahead of the 70th anniversary of Brown v. Board of Education, Brown’s Promise worked with Lake Research Partners to conduct national opinion research to better understand how Americans think about school integration and resource equity.

While messaging will always need to be tailored to fit each unique audience’s hopes, desires, and concerns, we have summarized here some high-level recommendations for talking with a general public audience based on that research.
